FINANCIAL CONTROLLER -MANUFACTURING COMPANY

An exciting new role has become available for a Financial Controller within a large manufacturing company. The role involves working along side a highly successful Financial Director, who has been working with the business helping its growth internationally.

My clients team is outgoing and highly creative and recruit exceptionally talented individuals into all areas of the business.

Your responsibility will include the management of a team of six, two of whom are direct reports and overseeing all financial matters for the business which will include reviewing the accounts and presentation to the board of directors, liaising with auditors and the responsibility of budgets and forecasts. You will also be reviewing and occasionally consolidating accounts with foreign currencies as the company is continuing to expand internationally. Other duties include cash flow management, analysis surrounding clients, supervision of monthly payroll and VAT returns. This role will also involve Ad-hoc projects and a strong use of Excel.

This position will suit a Qualified Accountant who has previous experience in a similar position. You must have outstanding communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment, in addition to having good time management and business partnering skills. You will have a track record of possessing strong financial management accounting, planning and analysis knowledge, with excellent IT Skills.
This role will be reporting into the FD and will be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a fast growing business. Having manufacturing background is desirable, however not mandatory.
