Financial Controller- Middle East (Arabic Speaking) recruitment
Charterhouse Partnership are currently engaged with a leading investment banking institution; who are in the process of looking to identify a regional Financial Controller, covering their Middle East platforms based in Riyadh.
With a reporting line to the Regional Head of Business and the Head of Finance based in London; the candidate will be expected to manage and execute the following responsibilities:
- Maintenance and management of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, including the required monthly consolidations and the US GAAP adjustments.
- Entity reporting and profit and loss analysis.
- Banking and cash positioning reporting for US treasury requirements.
- Monthly and quarterly financial reporting for review by London, which covers income statements, variance analysis and inter-company schedules. This also extends to tax reporting and balance sheet management.
- Regulatory and compliance reporting and monitoring on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Cash management; whereby bank accounts are maintained to ensure all authorisations are managed, whilst all payments and cash balances are controlled and maintained with sufficient funding levels.
- Overview of all areas of budgeting and forecasting to manage stakeholders needs and expectations, with reporting packs, strategic overviews and MIS commentaries.
- The role remit will also extend to payroll management, corporate card management and overview of internal audit functions.
The client will look to identify a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA), with at least seven years experience within the field of financial management, combined with an understanding of the financial services and banking sectors. The candidate should be a native Arabic speaker with an ability to converse clearly and concisely in English. Candidates will be highly motivated and able to set in place management guidelines and frameworks.
