Financial Controller – Real Estate – London recruitment
Financial Controller. Our client is an acquisitive and entrepreneurial sector specialist in the real estate sector who require a Financial Controller to add support during a sustained period of growth and acquisition. The role will support the existing FD and cover all aspects of financial and management reporting for several SPVs and 'own' their numbers and liaise with tax advisors, auditors etc.
The role
- Managing a team of 2.
- Maintaining and improving the financial controls and processes and integration with other business systems.
- Ensuring all entities are fully compliant with regulatory and taxation requirements – current entities are based in UK, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Spain – to include company house filings, statutory accounts, income tax, corporation tax, VAT, Non-Resident Landlord, PAYE.
- Responsible for setting budgets and reporting process across the business.
- Preparing monthly Management Accounts to set deadlines.
- Preparing statutory accounts under IFRS.
- Preparing submissions for quarterly Board packs.
- Forecasting income, expenditure and cash flow and tracking progress for each asset.
- Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial processes through-out the business.

You will be a qualified accountant with good technical accounting and reporting skills and possess strong interpersonal skills and be hungry to progress within an expanding company.
