Our client is an established player and market leader in its field. The group is well positioned for further growth and expansion in Asia region.
As a Financial Controller for its Malaysian business, you will form an integral part of the senior management team for Malaysia. You will lead the finance team and shall champion all finance initiatives so as to ensure that country growth and financial objectives are aligned with the Group’s strategic goals. Other core areas include corporate governance, commercial and operational business support, as well as related administrative matters so as to protect key stakeholder interests.
You should be a degree qualified accountant with at least 10 years of relevant experience; of which several years would have been in a finance leadership capacity, in a manufacturing environment. You are likely to have gained initial experience in a Big 4 firm, followed by commercial experience in a progressive organisation. You are a proactive leader with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in Malaysia is essential. Exposure to SAP or equivalent ERP system is highly advantageous.
