We are currently working with a boutique insurer looking to recruit a Group Accounting Manager. You will have previous experience of working within the insurance sector and be comfortable working from the ground level up.
Role Description
This already successful business and is seeking a talented Group Financial Controller to support the CFO. Day to day your responsibilities will include managing the consolidation processes and producing statutory, financial and management reports; preparation of timely annual and quarterly consolidated financial statements and performance analysis; monitoring and managing APRA reporting, implement best practices whist providing effective professional support for stakeholders . You will also be responsible for managing, mentoring and developing a a small finance team.
This role is pivotal within the business, it acts as a 2ic to the CFO and as such they are looking for a CA / CPA qualified accountant with solid commercial experience. The right person will also be groomed for the CFO role.
