Financial Controller recruitment
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in West Africa for experienced, French speaking, Financial Controller on an interim basis.
The opportunity is for a Gold mining and exploration company who have operations in West Africa and are continually exploring, developing and operating mines in Africa.
The company has various projects underway at present and is readily committed to converting any new discoveries into production and reserves. They have an experienced team in West Africa who have vast working knowledge of the mining industry and work together to create value for all stake holders through responsible mining.
Reporting into the West African Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include;
• Ensuring statutory/financial reports are delivered on time
• Oversee the accounting functions
• Preparation and management of cost variance reports
• Mentor and train members of the finance department
• Provide monthly cost summary reports
The duties required above are by no means exhaustive and therefore require an individual who is highly motivated, team orientated and passionate about finance.

You must be qualified CIMA/ACCA and have had experience in the Mining industry as well as in Africa.
