Financial Controller/Part Time FC
Based near Reading, my client is looking to recruit a qualified accountant into this FC position and they will consider taking somebody on either a part-time basis as well as full time. This could include people looking to work a set number of days each week or 5 days at reduced hours. The role is focused in setting up and establishing the finance team in this growing, successful entity. The finances are currently outsourced but the client is now looking to get the back-office in place and the processes and procedures up-and-running in anticipation of further growth. As such, you will be experienced in managing all aspects of the FC function and ideally have operated in a SME environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end processes initially, including statutory returns, management accounts and all routines. You will also be required to recruit as the business grows. Initially the role will be home based but the client is looking to establish offices near Reading.
