Financial Controls – Strategic Business Unit recruitment
Investigo are representing a top tier retail bank who are seeking a financial controls across the Retail product control arena
You will provide control expertise, assurance and attestations around core numbers reported within the financial statements, direction for Financial Control-based decisions and driving resolution of key business issues:
- Ensure the strategic direction and decision-making own SBUs (Strategic Business Units) maintain a robust Financial Control environment in own area of focus
- Influence or guide other areas/projects
- Senior stakeholder relationship management
- Timely and accurate completion of all month end activities including compliance with policies
- Technical accounting - compliance, advice and query resolution in own areas of focus.
- Financial control around SAP
- Compliance with all SOX controls owned and operated
- Coordinate activity across the Retail products
- Provision of tailored and aggregated product financial reporting across
- Month end and period end close activity
- Liaison point for external auditors for financial control issues in own areas of focus
- Drive resolution of issues and best practice
- Lead cost management activity providing strong financial control and understanding of the area; liaising closely with the Non-Product Control team
You must have experience of working in a top tier bank and be qualified in a recognized accountancy qualification.
