Financial Crime Officer
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert advice on Financial Crime and Anti-Bribery prevention to the business, senior management and fellow compliance officers in all offices
- Coordinating fulfilment of relevant policies and procedures across offices and ensuring proper communication and reporting on Financial Crime and Anti-Bribery matters
- Maintaining technical knowledge and professional networks within area of Financial Crime and Anti-Bribery and Corruption legislation and regulatory requirements in order to advise and recommend improvements with respect toUK and firm-wide policies, procedures and processes.
- Reviewing and testing existing controls and processes to ensure they are appropriate and adequate for the business and regulatory environment.
- Development of training programmes and materials and delivering training, including firm wide programs.
- Ensuring changes to the law and regulation in relation to money laundering, financial sanctions and terrorist financing and Policy Standards are reflected in the procedures for UK
- To assist with the development and implementation of companywide systems, controls, policies and procedures in relation to Financial Crime across jurisdictions.
- Undertaking investigations into suspected money laundering
- Conducting systematic reviews of the business to meet regulatory and business needs as required
- Track and encourage improvement in Business responsibility for the prevention of Financial Crime.
- Produce timely, high quality Management Information to include specialist reports for the MLRO and Senior Management within Compliance and the Business as requested.
EXPERIENTIAL BACKGROUND:
ESSENTIAL:
- Must have prior experience with UK/Global AML/Financial Crime compliance requirements.
- Understanding of global sanctions issues.

- Proven ability to clearly articulate business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings both to Compliance Colleagues and Business Heads.

- May occasionally require travel on an ad-hoc basis to other Renaissance locations to liaise with other compliance officers and the Business
