Financial Data Analyst recruitment

The Financial Data Analyst Role
- Act as front line support handling client requests for adding securities of all types to the Imagine Security Master
- Work with Trade Support and Client Management groups to ensure a high level of client satisfaction
- Review, research and approve client requests for new securities
- Verify client-supplied data with Imagine approved data sources
- Process upcoming Corporate Actions. This includes but is not limited to Dividend actions, Equity Mergers, Stock splits, Spin-offs, and Name Changes
- Process lifecycle events on securities. (i.e. dividend payments on stocks, coupon payments on bonds, floating rate resets on derivatives, FRNs, etc)
- Maintain the historical Price time series for securities in the Security Master
- Maintain the universe of exchange listed derivatives (Options, Futures, Futures Options)
- Maintain Imagine supported Interest Rate Data (Yield curves, Floating Rate Indices, Bond Spread Data, Credit Derivative Data)
- Maintain Imagine supported Credit Data (CDS Curves, Issuer relationships, Credit Ratings)
- Maintain all Imagine calculated Derived data (Volatility – implied and historical, Correlations, Dividend projections)
- Work with ASP Tech to ensure the timely and correct processing of client end of day and start of day processes
- Identify and document new procedures to improve the efficiency of the Data group in conjunction with the Manager, ASP Data Operations
Education and Experience:
- College degree with significant exposure to finance related subject
- 2 – 4 years experience in the financial services industry. Exposure to securities maintenance and processing is preferred
- Knowledge of financial instruments including Equities, Bonds, Credit Products and their associated Derivatives
- Knowledge of the structure of the International Financial markets, specifically Chinese Markets

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
