Financial Director recruitment
A global digital advertising technology company is looking for a Finance Director to join their growing and highly profitable Singapore office. This firm is at a very exciting stage of their development having experienced radical growth since their inception only a few years ago. As Financial Director you will primarily be responsible for managing and developing the firm's accounting function for the company's subsidiary in the APAC region and will be reporting directly to the CFO in the US.
As the Finance Director, you will be expected to implement company accounting processes and systems within the Singapore subsidiary and to establish reporting procedures to help drive performance. Other operational responsibilities will include managing local financial staff to optimise efficiency and to make effective hires to meet the needs of a growing business. You will also take charge of all performance management issues by ensuring the appropriate collection of invoices and bank accounts to help maximise cash flow whilst also making sure of accurate and timely recordings. In addition, your core financial reporting and planning duties will include supporting the preparation of annual financial statements, annual budgets and forecasts, the preparation of monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting packages for APAC as well as ensuring timely delivery of ad hoc financial requests.
It is essential for you to hold a globally recognised accounting qualification such as an ACA, ACCA or CPA certification whilst also demonstrating a track record in showing technical excellence and proven success at attaining goals. You will need to have had previous experience reporting under US GAAP and ideally, a strong background working in the telecoms and media industry. You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to influence key decision makers and possess a great attention to detail. It is critical that you are able to commit to working and living in Singapore and that you have the drive and ambition to ensure the firm continued growth in Asia.
