Financial Engineer / Actuary in Research Development LH Business at Allianz SE Reinsurance
Your new duties and responsibilities
- Recognised expert in actuarial/financial related topics in research and development team
- Builds interface to stakeholders, coordinates and supports new business activities
- Identifies and seeks opportunities for consistent business approaches to life and health reinsurance globally
- Identifies and supports Group capital optimization
- Supports asset liability matching of life reinsurance business
- Product innovation, risk mitigation, underwriting and pricing enhancement in LH reinsurance business
- Builds areas of expertise for risk capital, profit measures and new businesses
- Supports evaluation of products and target markets
- Supports reviews of limits, frameworks and minimum requirements in LH business
- Reviews reinsurance quotes according to TAT framework
Required qualifications and experience
- Experience in actuarial or financial science of Life Health (re)insurance (3 years)
- University Degree in mathematics/statistics/actuarial/financial science
- Ideally Post-graduate qualification (e.g. CFA or recognized Actuarial qualification)
- Fluent in English; German is an advantage
- Strong technical (actuarial/financial) and analytical skills
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Strong cross-cultural skills
- Strong entrepreneurial and results orientation
- Experience in delivering client focused solutions
