Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol Specialist recruitment

Our client, a Canadian owned global online marketplace for debt securities, requires the services of a Financial Information Exchange (FIX) Protocol Specialist to assist its team in Toronto with the development and update of a new API guide. There is an existing API guide in place however the FIX Protocol Specialist will need to map the API guide within FIX standards/specifications.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of financial services experience, preference with a focus on Fixed Income Securities. Related trading experience is a definite asset. Candidates do not required a programming/development/software engineering background however a solid grasp of the FIX protocol is a must as the incumbent will be required to map the API guide with minimal use of ‘custom tags’.
