Financial Institutions Specialist recruitment
Our client is seeking a strong candidate with experience and passion to fill a Financial Institutions Practice Area Topic Specialist position within their Knowledge Team. This professional will be recognized as the Asia regional expert on strategic FI issues within the company and by external companies/organizations. This position will focus on wholesale banking.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to case teams in an expert role and interact with clients as an expert
• Support business partners and principals on proposal, lead generation, and selling of cases; provide very good business judgment and identify selling potential
• Provide deep understanding of the company tools, network of FI experts and case
• experience
• Assist others in navigating the Knowledge network by connecting them with materials and people
• Develop ideas for, propose and lead PA research initiatives such as Tier 1s
• Contribute and represent the company and FIPA at external and internal events globally
• Help develop key PA tools where applicable (i.e., if pertain to his/her topic area)
• Edit external and internal PA publications/communications as appropriate
• Provide intellectual leadership and help drive agenda for strategic FI topics for the
practice together with business partners and principals
• Provide input to PA marketing communications and events
• Support proposal and case work
• Maintain a central file for quick access to proposal material – to be organized by key topic
• Help in developing and activating marketing plan from all FI investments
• Coordinate training events (developing and delivering training, coordinating events)
• Help in “managing” the pipeline including developing spreadsheets on new hires, laterals required etc
Requirements:
• Experienced professional with 7+ years of relevant work experience or +4 years consulting experience within topic area
• University advanced degree and demonstrated high academic achievement
• Excellent understanding of FI wholesale banking, the FI Practice's topic portfolio, and business concepts
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate with all levels of seniority
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills equal to high-performing consulting staff
• Excellent intellectual and people leadership skills
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills, include presentation skills
• Service-oriented and proactive
• Fluent English and Mandarin skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple parallel tasks
