MISSION:

Process monthly and quarterly financial close data to support preparation of consolidated financial statements. Provide stable, synchronized financial reporting environments. Enhance usage of Hyperion reporting application and functionality to continuously improve reporting and analysis within the finance user community. Establish process to ensure consistency of financial metadata (including general ledger) and serve as data steward for all financial metadata.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate metadata and chart of account updates to meet the financial reporting needs of the business owner and to keep systems in sync. Serve as metadata owner for financial systems.

• Load, validate and reconcile data (between source systems and other reporting systems) to ensure data is accurate and complete.

• Create, update and maintain reports necessary to complete monthly and quarterly analyses.

• Provide end user support and training on Hyperion products.

• Identify specific projects and system enhancements designed to improve processing efficiency of corporate internal and external reporting

• Act as a process owner for appropriate SOX processes and ensure compliance with the process.

• Serve as backup administrator for the Company’s account reconciliation tool, BlackLine.

• Work closely with the external independent auditors.

• Maintain and update company policies and procedures as applicable to financial data and the close and consolidation process. Provide education on new or changes in company policies.

• Coordinate with other financial departments to collect required data through HFM and drive process improvements.

• Coordinate with infrastructure resources to provide a stable Hyperion environment for the user community. Maintain environments at adequate patching and/or upgrade levels so that application support is within Oracle’s maintenance contract.

• Assist accounting managers with oversight of monthly close process.

• Supervise staff personnel either directly or indirectly to ensure appropriate cross training in the event of transition. Serve as point of contact for international HFM users.

• Ensure the continuous review and implementation of effective internal controls and accounting systems and processes.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information Systems

• Minimum of 6 - 8 years of work experience which includes experience with consolidations, currency translation and financial reporting

• Public accounting and/or internal audit experience a plus

• Manufacturing industry experience

• People or project management

• Advanced knowledge of Hyperion products including HFM, FDM, Reporting and Smartview

• Prior experience with SAP general ledger

• CPA preferred
