Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

Public Sector FM works with leading Public Sector organisations and Corporates in the Infrastructure market focussing on Finance function strategy and organisation.

Specific service offerings are:

- Finance Diagnosis and strategy
- Finance function effectiveness eg cost optimisation/shared service centres/recovery and stabilisation
- Effective Business Intelligence including planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost management

In addition you will:

- Deliver finance and Corporate Services transformation, cost optimisation, efficiency improvements etc
- Lead programme work streams and small projects
- Monitor, coach and develop others
- Operate as an effective team member and team builder
- Contribute to knowledge management and new proposition development
- Present to current and target clients
- Support business development initiatives including bid proposals

Qualifications and Skills

ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent * Strong communicator with the personal skills to build strong and lasting client relationships
- Flexibility to travel
- Project management and high quality project, work stream or assignment outputs delivery

Experience and Background

Consulting skills strongly preferred * Solid project based experience of working in a Finance Function
- Experience of transitioning to/implementing/improving Shared Service Centres
- Costing/pricing expertise including ABC and standard costing or cost reduction
- Understanding of issues and challenges facing finance function and trends in finance
- Ability to take on significant project delivery role
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Experience of proposal writing and presenting to clients or equivalent
- Strong people manager, able to lead small teams and develop others
