THE REQUIREMENTS * Obtain credit information, reports and other necessary information to effectively evaluate prospective customers. * Handle routine correspondence with customers, sales representatives and other employees regarding purchase requests, claims, invoicing, and other financial issues. * Set up files and secure necessary customer job information including lien rights and notifications. * Assist in customer credit evaluations and approvals. * Assist in collection efforts by phone or in person. * Perform other duties as assigned. SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in credit/collections required. Experience: No experience required Knowledge: Must exhibit a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and assume responsibilities. Must be able to effectively interface with a customers backgrounds and personalities. Exhibits the ability to absorb and apply the principles of financial management. Must possess intermediate computer skills with an emphasis in spreadsheets (Excel). Candidates willing to relocate for future promotional opportunities strongly preferred. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; Some overtime required (Note: The normal work schedule may vary depending on location.)
