Financial Manager & Compliance Officer recruitment

Polen Capital Management (“PCM”) is a 100% employee-owned and independent investment management firm.  For over 23 years the firm has managed a concentrated, low-turnover Large Cap Growth portfolio that consistently ranks within the top of its peer group for return and lower levels of relative risk. 

The firm managed separately manage accounts, a public mutual fund, and a Limited Partnership.  The firm currently advises over $3.0 Billion of client assets and is seeking talented individuals to join the firm and contribute toward the firm’s long-term growth strategy.

 

Position

PCM is seeking an entrepreneurial individual to join our Finance, Accounting Compliance team who will work cohesively with the team in producing financial reports, risk management reports, completing regulatory filings, etc.  The position offers a unique opportunity to join a successful and growing investment management firm.  The environment is entrepreneurial, team oriented and focused on continuous learning.  The position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be based in Boca Raton, FL at Polen Capital’s sole office location.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with outside legal, compliance, tax, and audit professionals

• Prepare and review annual GAAP financial statements. Facilitate timely and efficient audit completion

• Manage and maintain tax reporting. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and K-1's

• Manage the internal control, risk management, and compliance processes for the firm

• Prepare internal weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

• Maintain corporate governance documents

• Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, reconciliation, cash management, payroll

• Budget, forecast, strategic planning

• Manage special projects

Qualifications:

• Public accounting experience

• Degree in Finance or Accounting

• Quickbooks experience

• CPA preferred
