Financial Markets Business Partner recruitment
The jobholder is the business partner for Financial Markets Trading businesses in Europe responsible for providing Management Information to support business decision making and providing objective and forward looking analytical insight across all products.
The role will expose the successful candidate to all the banking groups, all regions across the globe as well as the full financials of the Group, strategic initiatives and future performance strategy.
The primary responsibilities of the Business Partnering Manager are:
• Facilitate on all finance matters relating to Europe region of the Financial Markets Trading business including support to the relevant Business Heads
• Lead pipeline Budgeting and Forecast process for FM Trading and submission for revenue and balance sheet (FX, Credit, Fixed Income and derivatives).
• Provide timely and accurate weekly and month-end financial performance reports and comprehensive business analyses to the FM Trading business heads covering revenue, risk-weighted capital/balance sheet. Work closely with the FM Costs Analyst in WB Finance to ensure full support is provided to the relevant business heads.
• Provide advisory support and challenge to the FM Trading business heads in the preparation of their annual budget, performance plans and strategic reviews in coordination with global WB finance and GFD. Develop an understanding of and be able to articulate the key business drivers and key performance indicators.
• Provide accounting support for large/ complex transactions.
The successful candidate will have:
• A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or overseas equivalent)
• Previous Business Partnering / FPA / MI experience
• Strong understanding of Financial Products (in particular FX/Rates/Options)
