Financial Markets Infrastructure Engineer recruitment

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly respected Global Financial Services firm who offer a range of market leading services to its clients including Direct Market Access (DMA), Custody and Clearing. 

As part of the specialist Asia Pac Infrastructure team they require a Senior Financial Markets Infrastructure Engineer to essentially take ownership of the Trading technologies and Market Access platforms. Part of your role will see you responsible for working with various Exchanges across Asia Pacific and multiple Financial Markets Technology vendors to ensure the company has the most up to date technology solutions to provide its client base.

Key to your success in this position will be your solid understanding and experience in the Financial Markets / Trading space, your background in Infrastructure technologies (such as Server Admin, Network Admin etc) and your experience of managing / coordinating upgrades and release schedules with various different vendors.

In essence, if you have a solid Infrastructure background and previous experience with Trading technologies such as Order Management Systems, FIX, Orc, RTS, GL Trade, etc then we want to speak to you. 

Your technology skillset may include Unix (Solaris / Linux) Windows, Cisco, VMWare, IRESS, Orc, Pats, TT, GL Trade, Imagine, Market Data, Scripting, ITIL.

Today you may be doing a role such as Client Connectivity Support, Integration Engineer, Application Support Analyst, Systems Engineer, System Administrator.

Non technical skills required include:

• Self sufficient, highly motivated, resourceful individual

• Be a problem owner and solver with a logical approach to solving issues.
