Financial Modeller – In-house Corporate Finance Role recruitment
Overview:
Excellent opportunity for a Financial Modeller to join the project finance / corporate finance team of this rapidly expanding company. Working as part of an experienced team of corporate finance professionals the role will involve preparing and building complex financial models.
The Role:
- Design, build and maintain highly complex financial models for large capex projects.
- Take responsibility for structural integrity and functionality of models including accounting, tax and regulatory requirements of various global markets.
- Support the acquisition/investment/tender/bidding appraisal activities of multi-million dollar projects globally through financial modelling.
- Work internally as part of multi-functional teams to assess markets and projects as required.
The Person:
Should be degree qualified (Business / Finance/ Engineering discipline) with a minimum of 3 years experience in a financial modelling role within a project finance or corporate finance environment. Excellent understanding of financial statements, an ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative information. Prior transaction experience in particular on the close process on sponsor / advisor side will be desirable. Advanced Excel.
