Financial Modeller within leading M&A Advisory recruitment
My client, a leading MA Advisory, is looking for a strong Financial Modeller to join their West End based office. In the last 3 years, the Investment Banking team has facilitated transactions representing over £22 Billion worth of assets. They have offices in the USA, Sydney and London.
Unbelievable opportunity to join an established company in a position where they are willing to give exposure to the MA Transactions, Clients, and to help develop Financial Modelling skills.
Duties:
- Design, build and maintain financial models
- Use financial models to arrive at preliminary conclusions. i.e. prepare reports of findings (typically to value portfolios of consumer finance products)
- Understand, manipulate and interpret financial data and client information, drawing appropriate conclusions
- Analyse and interpret prospective bids and prepare preliminary reports for clients and management
- Assist in the preparation of sales documentation, pitches and other presentations to clients and internal management
- Assist clients with the execution of transactions (acquisitions and sales), including taking day-to-day responsibility for certain aspects of execution through to completion
- Assist clients to work with endorsing organisations linked to the portfolio being acquired or sold
Requirements
To be considered for this role you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Strong academic background
- 2-5 years experience within business modelling, financial modelling, or transaction type work gained within a top 4 firm, boutique or investment bank
- Strong Excel skills is a pre-requisite
The onboarding process will involve an Excel Exercise, so the candidate must be confident on Excel, and able to manipulate large volumes of data.
Do not necessarily need to be fully qualified, but at least 2 years Financial Modelling experience wopuld be required.
