Financial Modelling – Senior Consultant – Perth

Our Perth Transactions team provides clients with a wide range of valuation, due diligence and other transaction related support services. We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant with a dedicated focus on the development and review of financial models to join our growing Perth Transactions team.
What do we do?
Valuations - valuation of companies and businesses, intangible assets and financial instruments for mergers and acquisitions (including the preparation of independent expert reports), public company transactions, post-deal valuation work for purchase accounting purposes and tax reporting
Financial modelling and investment analysis - financial model development, capital investment decision making advice and model reviews
Transactions support - buy side and sell side financial due diligence to provide a comprehensive review of a target business for transaction purposes as well as vendor assistance to ensure the effective completion of the transaction
Public document services - such as investigating accountant work on merger and demerger transactions
By joining the Transaction Services team you will
- develop deals experience from exposure to a wide range of transactions
- participate in a comprehensive program of structured learning as well as on the job training to develop enhanced valuation and transactions support skills
- be exposed to a diverse range of international, national and local clients, particularly in the resources sector, allowing you to develop real industry expertise
- work with senior team members on valuations and transactions projects and deal with senior personnel at client organisations
- work with teams from other PwC lines of service and other firms in the PwC international network.
To be successful in this role, strong financial modelling skills including the development and review of complex financial models and a commercial mindset are critical. In addition you should have strong communication skills, high levels of motivation and previous exposure to the resources and related sectors. Previous experience in corporate finance and valuation, financial accounting, financial modelling or industry analysis is critical, as is post-graduate qualifications such as CA/CPA, Finsia/Kaplan, MBA or Masters in Finance or Applied Finance.
