Financial Operations Customer Service (FOCuS) Specialist recruitment

The successful incumbent will be a member of the Financial Operations Customer Service team (FOCuS). FOCuS is the main point of contact for Accounts Payable and Expense related issues for the Asia region (excludingIndia). The incumbent will assists employees and vendors with questions or training regarding Accounts Payable processing and also be responsible for employees’ queries regarding expense management processes and corporate credit card queries.
Details of the responsibilities are:
Accounts Payable:
Provide customer service to both external vendors and internal employees by:
- Resolving vendor inquires regarding invoices, payments, vendor questionnaires, vendor set up documentation, etc
- Reviewing and approving all new vendor set-ups in PeopleSoft including the review of the vendor questionnaire, tax form status, bank accounts for electronic payment etc
- Resolving issues regarding allocations and re-classes
- Providing training and support to employees who submit or approve invoices
Extensity and Corporate Credit Card:
Assist employees with:
- Filing for expense reimbursement either manually or through the automated expense management tool Extensity
- Assist and follow up on any policy and process questions
- Provide training and support to employees submitting or approving expense reports
- Assist employees with corporate credit card issues such as reconciling balances, rush card requests, card reinstatement and any other issues
Others:
- Complete projects as assigned (e.g. create special reports, train new users, user acceptance testing, vendor scrub, reporting etc)
- Follow up on necessary approval for payments
- Provide additional support to other Global Financial Operations roles as appropriate
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting / Finance or equivalent work experience with emphasis in accounting related field is desirable
- 2 - 5 years of experience in customer service or administrative support environment
- Some knowledge of fundamental AP operations is helpful
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a deadline-sensitive environment
- Strong client services orientation
- Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to ensure outcomes are achieved
- Ability to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures
- Ability to think and articulate thoughts confidently
- Working knowledge of business desktop applications (i.e.: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) required
