FINANCIAL PLANNING ACCOUNTANT
My client is a rapidly growing car insurance broker, which is a very dynamic business. They have a great company culture with a friendly team in an open plan office based in the heart of London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals that want to fast track their career within a dynamic and acquisitive organisation and are looking for hands on experience.
A Finance Planning Accountant is needed for a 5-month project, however the duration of this may be extended. The main responsibilities will include the production cost centre reports, as they are looking for someone to build on this, in addition to assisting with the preparation of the three-year plan and forecast reports. You will be required to carry out variance analysis, journal posting and the balance sheet reconciliations.
My client is flexible on qualifications and will accept an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant. I am ideally looking for someone with broker/insurance background, with knowledge of Sun/Vision, however this is not essential. The successful candidate must have strong Excel skills, as you will be needed to perform pivot tables and Vlookups. Having a strong budgeting experience is also required as I am looking for someone who has done the budgeting process for a variety of companies.
