About the role
This is a senior role within our Storage and Logistics division and an integral component of the FPA function of the group. Reporting to the General Manager Finance, Storage Logistics and working closely with the business operating areas you will have responsibility for maximising business intelligence and company performance through financial analysis, planning, forecasting and performance tracking. The fundamental objective of the role is to strengthen the business through the provision of key financial information to the business leaders. Key outcomes for the role include:
- Developing a rigorous process that delivers business information to senior Management and the Board
- Partnering with the business Managers to maximising business efficiencies and results
- The identification of key business value drivers for revenue growth and profitability
- Developing successful business relationships with all levels of the business
About you
We are seeking a qualified finance professional (CPA/CA) who can demonstrate ownership and initiatives, ability to drive projects and change in a business, and a passion for excellence. You will be commercially astute - with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful information for management. Your outstanding interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to network and influence senior management whilst working in a collaborative team environment. Previous work experience in a large-sized organisation with multiple subsidiaries is preferred. In addition, it is essential to have reporting skills through to Board level. Your experience in business improvement and evaluation projects coupled with your strong financial systems skills will see you succeed in this role.
