Financial Planning & Control Manager

Our client, a leading blue chip company, based in West Sussex, is seeking a qualified accountant to join them as Financial Planning Control Manager. This job is a high profile and strategic role, requiring a self-motivated individual, with the confidence and ability to challenge at the highest level. You will have overall responsibility for supporting the production of the annual budget and long term business plan, as well as production of the monthly flash result, and regular input into Board papers. Key responsibilities will also include responsibility for the end to end forecasting and budgeting process, supporting regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, analysis of business trends, and reporting the monthly flash result to the Board.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA), ideally degree educated, from a large company background. You will have proven experience of budgeting and business planning, with the ability to think strategically, and challenge and review numbers in a business context. Additionally, strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence at all levels, are prerequisites for success in this exciting new role.
