Financial Project Accountant
Challenging six month contract for a hungry and ambitious Qualified accountant to be part of a project to take a fast moving business through a restructuring process. Reporting to FD you will create a flexible financial model covering several years which will forecast performance and outturn within varying scenarios. There will also be a requirement to oversee the creation of a bank of information for review by external organisations as part of the due diligence process.
You must be able to demonstrate commercial and financial acumen, be able to forge successful relationships with senior and middle management, and be able to liaise with and challenge teams to produce best results and meet reporting deadlines. You must enjoy taking ownership of projects and reporting back to the FD and board.
The successful candidate as well as being fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 4 to 5 years post qualification experience must have strong IT skills including advanced Excel and preferably knowledge of Sage. As well as being enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible you will ideally have experience in a multi-site commercial organisation, group accounting and producing budgets and forecasts.
