Hays are recruiting a Financial Projects Controller on behalf of a world leading organisation based in the North Worcestershire region. Working under the direction of the Director of Finance this opportunity will suit a confident, self-starter with the ability to operate in a busy environment.
The main purpose of this role will be
to provide financial control for projects and supporting the project managers with all aspects of their projects. You will be expected to prepare month end reports and analyse any variances and prepare quarterly forecasts explaining any changes.
The successful candidate will be formally ACCA, CIMA OR ACA qualified with experience of accounting for long term projects using "percentage of completion" is desirable. It is vital that you have experience of electronic financial systems such as Ms Excel and Ms Access with the ability to identify and extract relevant management information including macros, vlookup,+sumif, conditional formatting. Knowledge of IFRS and knowledge of SAP is desirable.
