Financial Projects Consultant: Syndicate
Based in the city this client is a global specialist insurance business which includes a syndicate as part of it's operations. Continually growing they are consistently looking for new ways to improve all aspects of their business. As such they are looking to appoint a financial consultant to drive change and better ways of working in the syndicate accounting team.
In particular this role will look at centralising some key activities that are currently dispersed around the group. This would include projects such as improvement, standardisation and development of the management accounts and reporting, looking at technical implementations (IFRS 4 phase 2) and looking at improvements to financial processes such as functional currency. This will be a high profile role and whilst my client does require candidates with good technical experience of accounting for syndicates they are looking for candidates with project experience who can really drive and implement change.
