Financial Promotions Analyst
The individual will be responsible for assisting with the provision of support and advice to marketing and sales teams to ensure that all materials being sent out to clients meet regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
- Review all marketing material and other documentation with consideration to regulatory requirements including those of regulatory bodies and the FCA’s Treating Customers Fairly principles. This relates to the entire product range with an emphasis on Unit Trusts and SICAVs.
- Provide constructive and accurate feedback following review of documentation ensuring that required amendments are made.
- Maintain good working relationships with key contacts in relevant business areas by offering pro-active, accurate and timely advice and support.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of regulatory changes (UK and international) and the impact these may have on promotional activity and material.
- As required, attend road shows and marketing events to ensure compliance approved material is being presented.
- Identify improvements to working methods/working procedures on an on-going basis.
Required:
- Experience from a similar role (preferred but not essential).
- Experience within in the Financial Services industry (preferred but not essential).
- Attention to detail with the ability to apply compliance knowledge in the assessment of accuracy and suitability of documentation.
- An interest in Compliance and regulations both domestic and international.
- Ability to raise and communicate complex issues accurately and succinctly to staff at all levels.
- Experience of taking the initiative to solve problems and also of working as a team to meet common objectives.
