Financial Promotions (Europe)

Our client is a highly successful and innovative global asset manager based in the heart of t the City of London

This is a broad compliance role and will provide advisory support in respect of financial promotions created both within the European business and from other areas of the group where Europe is potentially effected.

The role will include the planning and implementation of an effective programme of review for financial promotions including consideration of potential solutions to the review process such as outsourcing if appropriate. This will include liaison with some key support functions such as Intellectual Property and Tax.

Duties and Responsibilities
Managing and conducting review of Financial Promotions, including the provision of advice thereon to the marketing, sales and client services teams (and other teams as appropriate).

Development and maintenance of a guide for the business to assist them in delivering a compliant standard for financial promotions

Developing and implementing training for key staff on financial promotion topics and other areas of the compliance training programme as required;

Helping the Senior Compliance Manager to implement monitoring programmes which reflect the regulatory risks of UK and European business activities in relation to the activities of the marketing team;

Working closely with the business on any compliance issues arising from advisory activities;

Production of reports to Senior Management on compliance monitoring and advisory activities where necessary for the business areas covered;

The firm operates a superb benefits programme which includes a twice yearly bonus programme - bonus is likely to be circa 20% of base salary
