Our client is a Tier 1 global bank, with a strong reputation and strong presence in the world’s major financial centres. A position for a Finance Manager, AVP Level has arisen within their regulatory reporting function.
The regulatory reporting function is responsible for ensuring that the Bank meets its reporting obligations to local regulatory authorities. You will be responsible for the preparation of returns and work papers in accordance with the local MAS requirements (e.g MAS 610, 613, Basel etc). You will also be required to participate actively in system enhancement and process automation projects within the regulatory reporting function and will also play a lead role in the management of the team. The successful candidate can look forward to a well-rounded exposure to compliance and reporting standards in an international reporting environment and the opportunity to develop your people management skills.
To qualify for the position, the ideal candidate should be degree qualified from the discipline of Finance or Accounting with 4-6 years of relevant experience in international or local regulatory (MAS, HK MA, FSA, BOE, Basel etc) reporting requirements and compliance issues
