Financial Reporting Analyst – Interim Roles recruitment

Financial Reporting Analysts required for temporary contracts to commence January 3rd and finish 28th April 2010. These roles will suit qualified or part qualified accountants ideally with Big 4 Funds Audit or Fund Administration background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production of financial statements in accordance with relevant GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Self review of financial statements using checklists prior to submission for manager review
• Applying own initiative to projects and tasks.
• Taking an active involvement in ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are prioritised.
• Actively contribute to departmental meetings
• Assisting in supporting key group functions

Requirements
• Big 4 Funds Audit or Fund Administration background (preferred but not mandatory)
• Hedge/Mutual fund experience (preferable)
• Qualified or part qualified accountant
• 2/3 years relevant experience (preferred).
• Strong computer skills – advanced knowledge of Microsoft office
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills (ability to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative and offer solutions.
