Financial Reporting Analyst recruitment
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA, ideally), and will have a number of years of relevant experience in that areas of auditing and year end reporting. The team is known for its highly dynamic, innovative and entrepreneurial. This role would suit someone ambitious and looking to take on a challenging and exciting role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of year-end financial statements
• Being the main point of contact for Auditors
• Monitoring fund performance throughout the year
• Cash projection and cash management
• Liquidity monitoring
• Monthly FX hedging
• Involved in the set-up of new funds
• Maintaining and improving a high quality operations infrastructure
• Providing dedicated support to fund managers, analysts, and sales marketing
Skills requirements:
• Qualified Accountant with a number of years of relevant post qualification experience
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, combined with a pro-active ‘can-do’ approach is essential
• Good time management, ability to manage and prioritise competing demands is important
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information and ideas clearly
• Capacity to establish and maintain strong working relationships (internally and externally)
• Ability to learn and grasp new concepts quickly
• Technically competent individual with a good understanding of investment management and hedge funds
• Proficiency in MS Office, esp. Excel. Would be advantageous if have VB experience.
