Financial Reporting Assistant Accountant : 3 months temporary (with potential to go permanent) recruitment

As a Financial Reporting Assistant Accountant your main responsibilities will involve:
• Understanding all carry and co-invest schemes and IPP arrangements
• Managing relationships with outsourcers and service providers and collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Tax, Legal) in the smooth operation of the schemes
• Reviewing all carry administration tasks, including (but not limited to) approval of relevant invoices for payment, approval of forms for filing, coordination of leaver and joiner processes, etc
• Acting as a control mechanism to ensure consistency of outputs across all schemes and to ensure the schemes' operations are in line with up-to-date regulatory and compliance procedures
• Maintaining ledgers and prepare accounts for the Carry Trust and other schemes (partnerships, limited companies, asset pools)
• Coordinating the tax reporting process (UK and Non-UK, Form 42, WHT certs)
• Assisting in the setting up of new schemes and the winding up of old schemes
• Communicating to carry participants all information necessary and act as a central contact for all queries related to the arrangements
• Preparing communications for management and participants in relation to new schemes, leaving arrangements, reward reviews and such like
• Assisting as necessary with administration and reporting for funds
• Providing year-end support to the team and assist the team throughout the year with administrative requirements in line with other operational responsibilities such as;
Ø Organisation of audit, arrangement of meetings for accounts signature and sending out of letters and accounting/tax information to participants
As a Financial Reporting Assistant Accountant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• Final stages / newly qualified ACCA or CIMA
• Ideally A-Level in English / English Literature
• Excellent report writing capability
• Experience of management reporting
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
