Financial Reporting Executive – Insurance recruitment
Global Insurance Company with a broad and competitive insurance products and services has a brand new role for Financial Reporting Exe. to support a fast growing team in Singapore. This role will assist in maintaining records of fiscal and budgetary controls, ledgers, and other transactions. This role is to support Finance Manager and work closely with the CFO.
The role will include but definitely not be limited to:
- Prepare financial statements for the company which includes compilation, comparison of results against budget, income and expenditure analysis
- Prepare and review balance sheet / control accounts reconciliations and ensure the correct balance report
- Analyzes, reconciles, balances, and maintains accounting records.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Maintenance of General Ledger and Account Reconciliation monthly
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with the preparation of annual audited statutory accounts, with the assistance of external auditors, to ensure compliance with all legislative financial reporting requirements
- Ensure accounting and reporting deadlines are met
- Prepare requirements for tax return submissions
- Work closely with Finance Team Members
In order to be successful in the role you will be a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or Banking Finance and a CPA holder will be an advantage. You should be a top level communicator with the ability to work autonomously. The ideal profile will be from a General Insurance company where you have been an Accountant or Finance Assistant for about 2-3yrs
