Financial Reporting - Legal Entity Control
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading emerging markets-focused Investment Bank.
Do you have a strong understanding of financial products and past experience in financial services?
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of financial accounting for various legal entities of the Bank.
Roles/responsibilities:
- monthly and year end reporting
- Implementation of new IFRS accounting standards
- Hedge accounting control and reporting (cash flow and fair value)
- management and review of net investment hedges for foreign-bases subsidiaries
- both internal and external reporting
- management of the audit process and on going cash flow monitoring.
- Liaising with all areas of the bank, including front, middle and back office.
Skills/Experience:
- IFRS/IAS and GAAP experience
- Preferably qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Past experience in banking is preferred.
- Good systems skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint etc)
