Our client is a leading European Bank with a strong regional presence in Asia. As part of continued growth, they have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Reporting Professional to join the Hong Kong Finance team.
Reporting to Senior Management, you will join a team of highly-skilled accountants responsible for Financial Reporting. This includes responsibility for reviewing the financial data for group and head office reporting and preparing local statutory financial information for the Hong Kong entities and subsidiaries. In addition, you will work closely with overseas reporting production centre on the preparation of group reporting pack and be involved in various projects to automate/increase efficiency of the financial reporting process.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree and a professional accounting qualification
- 6-8 years financial reporting experience gained within Banking and Financial Services. Candidates from Big 4 auditing Financial Services clients will also be considered
- Attention to details and hands-on
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
