FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER: GLOBAL MEDIA COMPANY
My client is a listed global media business providing up to the minute information to commercial businesses across the world. Conveniently located in the heart of the city with a strong, profitable track record of impressive performance. They operate a fast paced and enjoyable culture working with high calibre professionals.
Due to an internal secondment they have an opportunity for a financial reporting manager to join them on an interim basis. This is likely to be approximately six months but could well be extended. The role sits within the group reporting function and will be involved in both the financial and technical reporting for the group but also the group financial planning and analysis. This is a high profile role where you will need to understand the wider commercial outlook for the group as well as being able to operate confidently with the executive team as this role will be one of the key points of contact from the business.
You must have first class technical skills which will include consolidations, working with US businesses and using ERP systems such as SAP. You will possess excellent narrative and communication skills as you will be summarising and reporting key issues internally and externally. This will be evidenced in both written and verbal format. You must have a good understanding of the wider commercial objectives of the business as you will be a point of contact for a number of the executives in the business. My client is specifically looking for chartered accountants with an exemplary background operating in large global businesses.
