Financial Reporting Manager, Investment Management
A major UK asset management firm in the City are currently recruiting for a financial reporting accountant. Our client as AUM across a range of funds including fixed income, money markets, real estate, equity and alternative investments. A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced financial accountant to take a role which will involve oversight of the offshore team whilst taking ownership of the statutory accounts process and providing support to the wider team and business.
We are inevitably looking for a Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent preferred) with strong technical knowledge who can support the senior manager on application of IFRS and Group Reporting Standards.
Whilst ensuring the business as usual is completed and managed effectively, you will also be required to work proactively to identify onshore and offshore process improvements and efficiencies, and manage implementation.
We are looking for individuals who have experience working in a large financial services company with experience of managing IFRS financial statements audit process is essential. Knowledge of regulatory returns for investment management companies and an understanding of investment manager FCA returns is highly beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity for either a Manager in the Top 4 (likely to be in investment management) or for an individual who has already made their first move into financial services but now would welcome the opportunity to join a progressive and ambitious team.
