Financial Reporting Manager – Pan-European

Advantage Professional are recruiting a European Financial Reporting Manager for a blue-chip organisation based in West London, on a 6 to 9 month contract basis. This fantastic opportunity offers an excellent remuneration and working environment for the successful candidate.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include:
Preparation of group IFRS statutory accounts and all associated reporting for a Pan European Group.
Successful completion of audit signing of statutory accounts by September 2012.
Experience of IFRS US GAAP accounting, including foreign exchange, consolidation business combination accounting. Confidence and ability to operate and communicate at all levels of the business across Europe and across business divisions to ensure reporting requirements are met.
Deadline-oriented approach and ability to achieve agreed deadlines targets for reporting.
Strong MS Excel skills (incl. basic macros).
Excellent English verbal and written skills.
To be considered for this role, you will be an ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant with extensive statutory reporting experience and excellent communication skills. Pan-European experience with US GAAP, IFRS and group consolidations experience are a pre-requisite for this role. Advanced level Excel and previous experience of SAP would be highly advantageous.
