Financial reporting Manager recruitment
A Global banking group is currently looking to further establish their business in Hong Kong. They are looking to add a Manager for the financial reporting team where they will be overlooking the overall group function to ensure timely and accurate financial reports are produced for management and regulatory entities.
This position is newly created with exposure from managing a team to face-off with senior management as well as working very closely with the management reporting team.
Responsibilities
- Make sure all financial statements and reports are in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support the PRC unit in the management reporting function.
- Point of contact for external auditors or any annual audit matters
- Create and improve account policies and manual for daily uses by the finance team
- Participate in planning tax computation and tax planning as well as handling the annual account closing
- Manage a team of accountant
Requirement
- At least 5 years of financial accounting experience within the banking industry
- Good knowledge of accounting principles
- Understands the Policies and procedures for government regulations
- Good English, Cantonese and Mandarin a must
- Qualified accountant and related Degree holder
