The Regional Controlling Accounting (RCA), Finance Compensation within Corporate Centre, is searching for a
Financial Reporting Specialist.
In order to maintain our current level of operational and business partnering services we need to rehire a talented individual to support the closing process of calculating and instructing the global bonus accruals and deferred awards expensing, who is experienced in month-end close processes, understands the controlling and accounting requirements, can deep dive and become an expert in compensation operations, and also with a significant experience in data management and reporting. This person must enjoy detailed and complex problem solving, collaboration across teams, and be able to deadlines in the close process.
This is a key production role in RCA in a highly regulated, complex, technical, detailed, change-based environment and the tasks and responsibilities can include:
Managing global bonus accrual process in coordination with Group Controlling, Divisional Controlling, Group HR Divisional HR functions;
Preparation of recurring and ad-hoc senior level reporting and analyses to address queries on compensation movements for key Locations, Regions Divisions answering to legal entity controllers, management, tax, IT, regions and CTB;
Partners with senior Divisional Controlling stakeholders to forecast and project compensation impacts on business;
Preparation of KPI metrics on system run and communication to Ops Risk teams / HR / CTB;
Implementation of new plans into the bonus engine and detailed hands-on coordination of any required changes / obtaining departmental heads approval.
Master degree in Business / Finance or equivalent
Strong leader, can coordinate the global close of all compensation costs and PnL and B/S signoffs to Locations and Divisions by required deadlines;
Strong and effective communicator, can take on complex discussions with senior LEC and Divisional counterparts with ease and confidence;
Understands and has worked in a deadlines-oriented financial closing environment before, can independently monitor and track production targets without missing agreed deadlines;
Flexible and willing to work across a global team in multiple time zones, sometimes working early or late in shift work to cover business needs in close;
Proactive and able to think creatively: can design and implement new efficient processes;
Able to improve existing processes and efficiency by examining workflow and focusing on customer needs/outputs;
Comfort with modern data management tools;
Likes to work with details, complex problems;
High level of comfort in a change environment with incomplete processes and systems;
Highly organized, follow-up on open items until complete resolution;
Proficiency in English is a must.
