Financial Risk Analyst - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits - City of London
An ambitious and growing bank, and subsidiary member of a FTSE 250 financial services provider, is currently ideally seeking an ACA/CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant to join their Finance team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for you to maintain and develop the Banks capital and liquidity reporting to the FSA and international regulators as the bank is expanding internationally. This is a high profile role and will require extensive interaction with Senior Management and Group Finance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain and develop the Banks framework of capital and liquidity management reporting and controls
- Liaison with Group Finance to ensure that deadlines and requirements are adhered to
- Generate proposals and MI relating to risk management
- Working with the budgeting and MI team to develop budgeting and forecasting models for decision support
- Complex modelling associated with the preparation of the Banks DRA, ICAAP and ILSA
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with Financial Services experience. You will be an advanced user of MS Excel and will ideally have experience of SQL, SAS and Business Objects.
Where UK qualifications are specified we will take into account overseas equivalents. Candidates must be eligible to work in country in which the role is based.
