Detailed Description
* Compile, analyze and maintain information on credit worthiness on all customers and job accounts within assignment
* Make recommendations for credit limits to appropriate financial services managers and region financial services managers; compile and maintain PACT contract files
* Interact with Financial Services and branch personnel in a professional manner to ensure adherence to companies credit approval policies
* Maintain daily management of companies Date Management function to ensure the accuracy of customer information and financial structure, as well as the accuracy of internal sales and financial reporting
* Participate in periodic reviews of assignment, goals and objectives with Financial Services Supervisor, taking necessary action to improve performance
* Maintain aggressive follow up to ensure prompt approval of credit extension to new and existing customers
* Validate data to properly affect clients lien rights position
* Enter data into third party lien tracker websites and assist Financial Services in protecting lien rights as appropriate
* Conduct daily customer account maintenance
* Perform mass customer account maintenance as appropriate and conduct research when necessary
* Reduce credit limits on inactive accounts and as instructed by management
* Restrict credit as appropriate and within guidelines and gather supporting documents and reports to file and perfect liens, defend and pursue suits, and defend preference actions and other legal matters
* Respond to incoming credit references and review incoming correspondence in lock boxes
* Process requests for electronic invoices and statements from customers and prepare and submit required reports on timely basis
* Maintain contacts with credit profession and financial institutions
* Participate in LEAN and other task force groups as determined by management

Job Requirements
* Effective skills in ten key by touch
* Proficient keyboarding skills
* Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
* Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills with a positive disposition
* Ability to work effectively with all levels of management to accomplish goals and objectives
* Strong organization skills and solution-oriented philosophy with ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate a willingness to accept new challenges
* Willingness to accommodate temporary changes in working hours as required by work flow

Experience
* Minimum of 2 years experience in credit and collections

Education
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* NACM or other credit management accreditation
