Financial Services Audit Senior
Two Big 4 firms are looking for financial services auditors to join their expanding FS audit teams. They work with large, well-known finance organisations such as asset management firms, insurance companies and banks.
The role will require proficiency in IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP and experience of FSA CASS rules. You are required to posses well developed supervisory skills including coaching and project management.
· You will have your own portfolio of clients with responsibility for agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team, including other specialists , monitoring budgets and supervising the KPMG audit process. This will include planning and carrying out audit fieldwork, statutory reporting and project management.
· Supervising and coaching junior members of staff.
· Keeping managers and partners up to date with progress throughout the course of the assignment.
· Preparing reports to senior management and audit committees.
· On-site involvement and being the key point of contact.
· Keeping up to date with their product and service offerings and helping to identify sales opportunities within your client base.
You must be professionally qualified with a recognised accountancy body, ACA , ACCA or CPA with significant audit experience including practical experience. Strong financial services experience, particularly on global banks and insurance and extensive knowledge of developments within the financial sector. Leadership skills and ability to act as a role model. Drive and resilience and ability to thrive in a pressured environment. Knowledge and experience of auditing, specifically in a lead assistant manager role of a large global bank or insurance organisation.
