Position Summary:
Experienced Financial Services (Banking) Market Maker for the Performance Financial Services DU.
The Performance Financial Services practice is focused on serving institutions with assets of $2B and up with solutions in the following areas:
- Information Management
- Customer Management
- Performance Management
- Advisory Services
Our ultimate objective is to help institutions be more efficient, make better decisions, and grow profitably.
The focus for this position will be primarily business development. We are seeking a business development professional with extensive experience selling consulting services (both technology and advisory) to financial institutions.
Additionally, this position may require some client service delivery (limited hours) assuming they have the ability to provide market thought leadership in relevant areas.
Lastly, it is desired that the person who fills this position will also play a role in solution creation and innovation for our group based on market experience.
Qualifications:
Skill sets required include:
1. Knowledge and experience with regard to information and performance management in credit and regulatory decision making processes
2. Ability to grow and expand the Financial Services (Banking) consulting practice
3. Ability to lead sales and delivery of Financial Services (Banking) business opportunities within the overall Crowe Performance Business Unit
4. Extensive high-level network of contacts in financial institutions in our target market (top 100 US banks with assets between $2B - $200B)
5. Ability to combine process, technology and consulting competencies into customer driven solutions
6. Ability to develop sales and delivery strategies, structure, processes, and skills in an accelerated time frame in any of the following focus areas: Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, Benchmarking Services, or Operational Risk.
7. Ability to architect the Financial Services (Banking) practice offerings and solution design / differentiation around Customer Management, Performance Management, and Data Management.
8. Ability to interact and promote Financial Services (Banking) solutions at both National and Regional levels to strategic partners (e.g. Microsoft, IBM, Informatica) as necessary.
9. Ability to manage Financial Services (Banking) sales pursuits, Financial Services (Banking) subject-matter-expertise, solution development, and delivering Financial Services (Banking) implementations.
10. Ability to oversee project quality assurance through direct client interaction and preventive actions to eliminate possible deviations and guarantee client satisfaction and engagement profitability.
11. Ability to establish professional relationships with S and C level executives.
12. Ability to serve as an industry thought leader and successfully communicate the benefits PERF Financial Services (Banking) provides to industry clients and prospects.
13. Ability to drive new business by leveraging existing networks and channels, assisting on sales calls, crafting and delivering key presentations, developing accurate estimates and cost models, and authoring differentiating proposals
14. Ability to achieve long-term business objectives in alignment with revenue, income and client satisfaction goals in the Financial Services (Banking) account portfolio
15. Ability to perform in a sustainable consulting team environment and provide career guidance and mentoring to team members
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must have 5+ years of Financial Services (Banking) sales experience
2. Must have background selling and delivering blended process and technology solutions to top 100 banks ($2B - 200B in assets) in US
3. Must have strong business development acumen coupled with strong Financial Services (Banking) solution (functional) knowledge and experience in Credit, Retail, Commercial, IT, and/or Risk and Compliance.
4. Must have extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of Financial Services (Banking) project implementations
5. Must have solid reputation and references with Financial Services (Banking) clients, contacts, partners, etc.
