Our client located in Central Toronto is looking for a proven high performer with strong contacts in the Financial Services space (optimally and existing relationships within Insurance). In this newly created and high profile role, the Financial Services Business Development Manager is to report to the Executive Vice-President and to develop new relationships and programs as well as calling on existing customers to retain and expand their business. The Financial Services Business Development Manager will educate clients on systems and procedures, gathering competitive data, monitoring program activity, assisting internal departments with new program development, and promoting the organization at industry events.

Specifically, the Financial Services Business Development Manager will develop and maintain profitable new business, manage relationships, monitor trends and make proactive strategic recommendations, analyze monthly reports to identify opportunities to increase sales and minimize lost volumes. The incumbent will be accountable for achieving revenue targets, communicating with Marketing and Operational staff to maximize opportunities, using Salesforce.com to track sales activities and critical information, and develop pricing proposals, and be responsible for other related duties as required to ensure continued growth for the organization.

Qualifications:

The candidate to embrace this exciting challenge will have a strong current track record attaining/exceeding targets within a Financial Services capacity. Special attention will be shown to candidates demonstrating strong contacts within Insurance Agencies/Brokerage, etc. Your proven finesse in business development and relationship management, coupled with your ability to identify and respond to market trends, along with your promo-ability and desire to take on a more leadership focused role as success perpetuates, makes this a win/win!
