FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY - RISK SOLUTIONS, PROCESS AND GOVERNANCE - (SENIOR) CONSULTANT

As a (Senior) Consultant in Financial Services Industry, you will be part of a dynamic team that draws together specialist knowledge and Financial Services Industry experience. Our professionals are focusing on actuarial insurance advisory work, regulatory compliance and implementation of new financial sector regulation. This includes topics such as Solvency II, MiFID, UCITS, IFRS and Basel III implementation work, actuarial services, model development and validation, corporate and internal governance, compliance organisation and monitoring, optimization of the risk function and internal audit.
- Help our clients improve their internal risk capital management practices; both regarding risk measurement as well as sound governance (e.g. in the context of ORSA or ICAAP);
- Advise our clients on the risk processes, infrastructure and governance implications of business change, for example due to regulatory requirements such as Basel III, Solvency II, Regulatory reporting; as well as project assurance, control improvements projects in core business processes, Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Audit functions;
- Design, implement and assure fundamental processes and controls to manage the risks our clients face on a day-to-day basis; and realize efficiencies through the realization of synergies in control frameworks;
- Tackling the challenges our clients face in analysing, controlling and reporting their risk and financial data;
- Participate in the career and performance development of the Deloitte ERS practice by serving as a career counsellor, training new junior consultants and providing timely and specific performance feedback;
- Be trained and coached in order to develop your knowledge and skills, management and business development capabilities.
- You obtained a master degree in economics, engineering or have an equivalent qualification;
- You have a first working experience in the Financial Services Industry (Consulting) in at least one of the following areas:
- You have a critical and analytical mindset;
- Your approach is client and result oriented and you have excellent social, communication and presentation skills;
- You can express yourself fluently in English, Dutch and French
- The occasion to work with a team of other Financial Services Industry consultants (risk measurement experts, risk modelling consultants, actuaries, business process experts, regulatory consultants, …) on large-scale implementation projects such as Basel III, Solvency II, controls rationalization, installation of a risk control function, …;
